Parco Sempione

Parco Sempione

Imagine yourself on a sunny day in Milan. You’re holding an empty basket in your hand and together with your local guide you embark on a tour of the city center in search of good food and beverages for a unique picnic in the park, just a stone throw away from the imposing Sforza Castle and Napoleon’s arch.

What do you want to put in your basket for a great meal? Your local guide will introduce you to the authentic haunts where the real Milanese shop. We would start with a couple of sanwiches stuffed with prosciutto and hand-made mozzarella and we’d complement them with a bottle of red wine. What about some meaty green olives and cherry tomatoes? And of course seasonal fresh fruits and a yummy slice of cake.

Along the road you’ll have the chance to see some of the highlights of the city, from Duomo cathedral to the narrow streets of cobblestones of Brera neighborhood.

At the end of the tour lay out your blanket on the green grass in Sempione Park and enjoy!
